As a Christian, what are the things you're most passionate about?   Who do you enjoy communicating with?   How can you stay "in the know"  about some particular topic? That is, what group of people  would you listen to the most?   And when the time comes to really accomplish something, who would you like to be able to contact?   (And everything below is FREE !)   YahooGroups.com, (formerly eGroups.com) is a free secular site -- let's say a "tool" -- which Christians can wisely use for kingdom-work, to facilitate the types of communications mentioned above.       A YahooGroup is an email-discussion group.  You don't need anything special, just sign up and you'll start receiving email from that group, and you can then reply via email to that whole group (usually).  Try one.   And better yet, ccGroups.com is a separate free Christian site which serves as a worldwide directory to the many Christian YahooGroups.  Is that cool or what?   And best of all, this page you're on right now, links to all the known Christian YahooGroups here in our area.  See list below.   Need Help ? YahooGroups will explain everything, but here's the simplest parts. Register/sign-up for a Yahoo ID  (free) and tell them what password you'd like to use. Hint:  For security purposes, they'll then automatically fire off an email to that address.  So quickly go check your email and send back a reply confirming it's really you and you really do want to register.   Subscribe to any YahooGroups that you find that you'd like to join.  Anytime.  And they're all free.    (Try any of the Christian YahooGroups listed below.)    (Questions?  Ask "Coach") Or read all the details & FAQ's at YahooGroups.com   You can even start YOUR OWN YahooGroup ! (Imagine... a YahooGroup for your church, or church-techs, or even your small-group at church, or SS-class, or a YahooGroup for anyone at your church who's passionate about evangelism & prayer.)   Now, just for you techies to think about... Consider that maybe, just maybe, since YahooGroups already offers a flexible, user-manageable, simple security system, you may want to just use particular YahooGroups to house secured documents you've been wondering about getting to your website.  For instance, say you have a YahooGroup for your church-board.  They can sign in and get confidential documents, etc.   Hmmm.  Why recreate the wheel at your site?  And the possibilities are endless.
